I totally agree that mags should offer some free subs and honestly, I think those should be available to any writer who needs them. Your point about inclusivity not needing to include a list is something I wholeheartedly agree with. If editors simply accept the best content without discriminating, then we would have the perfect inclusive community without the long list we so often see on lit mags’ “about” page.
